Aganova has inaugurated Aganova Labs, a new facility dedicated to the testing, validation, and demonstration of advanced technologies for pipeline inspection and water network analysis.
This laboratory allows the company to test its solutions in a real, controlled, and safe physical environment. In doing so, Aganova strengthens its research, development, and innovation (R&D) capabilities while accelerating the evolution of its technologies for leak detection and hydraulic infrastructure analysis.
The new installation was inaugurated last week by the company’s founder, Agustín Ramírez, together with members of the Board of Directors. Following the inauguration, attendees shared a cocktail reception, celebrating this important milestone for the company in a relaxed atmosphere.
A full-scale hydraulic test bench
The new laboratory features a full-scale hydraulic test bench designed to recreate different operating conditions found in water distribution networks.
The installation includes several pipeline sections of different sizes and materials.
In addition, the system includes strategically positioned isolation and control valves to recreate multiple hydraulic configurations. It also integrates high-efficiency pumps, allowing precise control of flow and pressure across different testing scenarios.
The facility is also equipped with advanced instrumentation to collect hydraulic and acoustic data. These datasets are essential for validating and calibrating the technologies developed by Aganova.
