Meeting Global Safety Standards for Drinking Water Infrastructure
September 11, 2024 – Aganova’s Nautilus system has achieved key certifications for potable water operations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
This milestone affirms the system’s compliance with some of the most rigorous standards in global drinking water safety.
NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certification for North America
In the United States and Canada, Nautilus is now certified under the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard by UL, a globally recognized certifier.
This certification guarantees that all materials and components in contact with potable water are non-toxic and safe for human consumption.
Moreover, it is a critical requirement for any technology used in drinking water infrastructure across North America.
BS 6920 Approval for the United Kingdom
In the UK, the Nautilus system has passed BS 6920 testing—an essential standard for materials used in public water supply systems.
This approval confirms that Nautilus does not adversely affect the odor, taste, toxicity, or microbiological quality of potable water.
As a result, it is now fully approved for use in British drinking water networks.
A Global Commitment to Water Safety and Innovation
This achievement underscores Aganova’s ongoing commitment to global water safety and operational excellence.
By ensuring compliance with international standards, Nautilus is positioned to support utilities in safeguarding public health while reducing water losses.
The project also benefits from support through the European Union’s NextGenerationEU funding initiative, further accelerating Aganova’s mission to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable water management worldwide.
