PRIVACY POLICY - AGANOVA INSPECTIONS APP
This policy explains what personal data is processed by the mobile application Nemo (the “App”), developed by AGANOVA S.L., what it is used for and what rights you have over it.
The App is a professional tool for managing inspections of water infrastructure. It is intended for Aganova staff and authorised clients. Accounts cannot be created from the App: they are set up by Aganova.
This policy supplements Aganova’s general Privacy Policy, which continues to apply to the website and to our business relationship.
1. Data controller

| Tax ID (CIF) | B92941988 |
| Address | Calle Severo Ochoa, 45, Parque Tecnológico de Málaga, 29590 Campanillas (Málaga), Spain |

2. Data we process
| Category | What it includes | Source |
| Account data | Username, password (stored encrypted), name, work email address and company | Provided by Aganova when the account is created |
| Inspection content | Photographs of the site, markers created on the map with their coordinates and the data the user enters in them, together with the author and date | Entered by the user in the App |
| Internal chat messages | Message content, sender, recipient and date | Entered by the user in the App |
| Notification identifiers | Firebase Cloud Messaging device token and Firebase installation ID | Generated automatically by the App |
| Technical data | IP address, device model and operating system version, needed to connect to our servers | Generated automatically when using the App |
Marker coordinates identify the location of the inspected infrastructure, not the user’s location.
3. Data we do not collect
- Device location. If you grant location permission, the App uses GPS solely to show your position on the map. This information is processed only on your device: it is not sent to our servers or stored. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your phone settings; the App will keep working without showing your position.
- Biometric data. Fingerprint or face recognition sign-in is handled by your device’s operating system. The App only receives confirmation that verification succeeded; Aganova never accesses or stores your biometric data.
4. How we use the data
- To provide secure access to the App and manage user accounts.
- To record, store and display inspections, photographs and markers to the authorised users of each project, including clients who have access to their inspections.
- To enable communication between staff through the internal chat.
- To send notifications about activity in the App (for example, new messages or changes to an inspection).
- To keep the service secure and working properly.
We do not use App data for advertising or to send marketing communications.
5. Legal basis
| Processing | Legal basis (GDPR) |
| Use of the App by clients | Performance of the services contract with Aganova (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Use of the App by staff | Performance of the employment relationship (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest in organising work (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Notifications and service security | Legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
6. Who we share the data with
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. It is only accessed by the authorised users of each project and by the following providers, who act as data processors on behalf of Aganova:
| Provider | Service | Data accessed |
| Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | Sending notifications | Device token and installation ID |
| Azure | Storage of accounts, inspections, photographs and messages | All data listed in section 2 |
| Google Maps | Downloading map images | IP address and map area viewed |
Some of these providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We may also disclose data where required by law.
7. How long we keep the data
- Account: while it is active. When it is closed, it is deleted within 30 days.
- Inspections and photographs: for the duration of the contract with the client and, afterwards, for the applicable legal retention periods.
- Chat messages: until the related inspection is deleted.
- Notification token: deleted when you sign out or uninstall the App.
8. Your rights and account deletion
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to rgpd@aganova.com, stating your App username and attaching a document proving your identity.
To delete your account and the associated data, send your request to the same address with the subject “Delete App account”. We will confirm the deletion within one month at most. Some data may be kept blocked where required by law.
If you believe we have not properly handled your rights, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Security, minors and changes
Security. Data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and access is restricted to authenticated users according to their permissions in each project.
Minors. The App is a professional tool and is not intended for people under 18.
Changes. We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with its update date and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you in the App.
